Links

Links stores named collections of web links. Collections can belong to the root site or to an author space.

Open Links in the admin navigation, create a collection, then add categories and links. Each link can have a title, address, description, and optional image. Authors manage their own collections; superadmins can manage root and author collections.

Insert a collection with:

[links id="collection-alias"]

Choose list, boxes, cards, or tree with the view attribute. Tree views can start expanded. The wide and sidebar attributes can request a wider content area from themes that support it.

Links validates addresses before saving them. Public output uses local presentation assets and does not fetch remote previews or icons.

Current static exports omit Links shortcode output and its plugin stylesheet. Keep the live tinymash route available when an exported page depends on a collection.
