Terminal

Terminal is tinymash's most stylized theme. It suits technical journals, project logs, release notes, and personal sites that want a console presentation without giving up posts, pages, menus, or mobile navigation.

Presentation

Terminal uses its own local CSS and JavaScript presentation rather than Bootstrap. It still follows tinymash’s shared content, metadata, privacy, screen-mode, menu, and plugin-region contracts.

The color preset can be Green phosphor, Amber CRT, Ice blue, Campbell, Solarized, Paper terminal, Monokai, or Classic Linux. Every preset provides Light, Dark, and 16-color variants within the public screen-mode behavior.

Navigation

The primary menu can appear in the header or sidebar, or be hidden. The sidebar can show a terminal-styled page tree. Fallback page navigation depth, breadcrumbs, child-page lists, and the footer menu are configured separately.

Below the desktop breakpoint, the [=] control opens the mobile navigation drawer. Screen-mode controls remain compact but have full pointer and keyboard targets.

Content and media

The site home can use the blogroll or a published static page. Posts without written summaries can show generated text, full content, or titles only. Full entries keep a calmer reading view and do not automatically repeat the featured image above the content.

Terminal supports site and author banners, including terminal-style artwork, and keeps public backgrounds separate. Content width can be overridden for an author space.

Plugins and code

Search, tags, syntax highlighting, sidebar fragments, and footer fragments use Terminal-owned presentation. Enabled public components remain plugin-owned; the theme only maps their portable colors and surfaces into the selected palette.

All frontend assets remain local. Custom CSS is stored for Terminal separately from other themes.
