What's Up

The What's Up plugin allows you to display calendar entries in different formats. The source can be an uploaded .ics file, or a remote URL.

You can choose to give events from a given calendar a specific accent color. Where and how these calendars are displayed is controlled by inserting [shortcodes] into your content. Some themes also support displaying What's Up content in sidebars, etc.

You may also choose to use only one source for a given shortcode, which allows you to either aggregate existing calendar sources into one view, or keep them separate.

The plugin only displays cached events/items. They can be refreshed via the admin interface, or by executing a tinymash CLI command via, for example, cron This makes the rendering of calendar data fast, and safe.
