Signage

Signage presents a timed loop of public pages, managed images, and composed Markdown slides.

Create a loop under System > Plugins > Signage, choose its display settings, then add and order slides. A page or image used by a slide must already be public. Markdown slides can use registered shortcodes.

Each enabled loop has a launch URL containing an access key. Open that address on the display browser; Signage authorizes the browser and redirects to the clean player URL. Regenerate the key to revoke an old launch address.

The access key protects entry to the player but is not a user account. Treat launch URLs as credentials and do not place them in public content or logs. Disable a loop when its screen should stop receiving it.

The player uses local assets and periodically reads the loop's routed data. Static exports keep Signage players on the live site and rewrite exported links to their live URLs.
