Notes

Notes gives each signed-in user one private Markdown note. Notes never appear on public pages, in Search, or in feeds.

Open Notes in the account navigation. The editor has Write and Preview views, Markdown tools, emoji, autosave, and the relevant main-editor keyboard shortcuts.

Autosave writes a private draft; it does not replace the saved note. Save note updates the note, clears the draft, and creates a revision when the content changed. Revision retention follows the site's stored-revisions setting.

Author and site exports can include Notes data when plugin data is selected. The Backup plugin uses that export contract. Treat the archive as private because it can contain personal working material.

Notes is a notebook, not a second content collection. It has no public sharing, multiple-note folders, attachments, or search.
