Search adds /search for the root site and scoped search for public author spaces.

The active public theme must also have Public search enabled before it shows a search form. That theme setting does not activate the plugin by itself.

Results include published posts and pages visible in the selected scope. Drafts, unpublished entries, scheduled entries awaiting activation, and non-public author spaces are excluded. Queries must contain at least two characters.

Root search covers root content and content from public author spaces that participate in the root site. Author search stays inside one author space and uses that space's theme.

Static exports include a Search page, local JavaScript, and a JSON index for each exported scope. Searches run in the browser without a request to tinymash or another service. Query text is not sent to analytics by the plugin.
