Publishing

Composer creates and edits both posts and pages. Posts belong to chronological publishing streams. Pages can form a hierarchy and are suited to stable site content.

Composer modes

Simple, Focused, and Full modes present the same stored entry with different levels of control. Changing mode does not discard advanced values. The site default seeds new accounts; each user’s last selected mode is then retained.

Publication states

An entry can be saved as a draft, kept unpublished, submitted for moderation, scheduled, published, or moved to Trash. Scheduled entries remain private until content:publish-due activates them.

Media

Images can be uploaded, pasted, dragged into Composer, or selected from the media library when the site permits it. Featured images are separate from images placed in the body. Themes decide where featured images appear.

Author spaces

An author space is a publishing area below an account path. It can inherit site settings and theme defaults or use supported author-specific overrides. Disabling sign-in for an account can keep its published space available while preventing that account from logging in.

Content management and writing are separate tasks. Content finds, filters, publishes, restores, and removes entries. Composer works on one entry, its active draft, and its revision history.
