What's Up

What's Up reads iCalendar (.ics) sources and displays their events without creating content entries.

Add a public HTTPS calendar URL or upload an .ics file under System > Plugins > What's Up. Refresh remote sources from the admin page, housekeeping, or the CLI:

php8.4 bin/tinymash.php whats-up refresh

Public pages use the saved event cache only. A failed refresh keeps the last successful events. Remote sources cannot use credentials, redirects, or private-network addresses.

Available shortcodes are:

  • [whatsup] for a compact three-day view
  • [agenda] for a chronological list
  • [timeline] for a visual chronology
  • [calendar] for a month view

Attributes select sources, date ranges, limits, locations, descriptions, and calendar navigation bounds. A configured view can also appear in the public sidebar of supporting themes.

Current static exports omit What's Up shortcodes, theme slots, and controls.
